Japanese papers are highly valued in conservation. These are handmade papers ranging from 3 - 70gsm. Though the papers could be thin, it offers great strength and longevity. Widely Kozo (Mulberry) and Gampi fibers are utilized to make Japanese papers. These papers mostly contain long-fibers which is ideal for lining.
